Experiencing the Train: Scribble Canvas poem by Something Suzzanne

Little boys feel it early - the magic. In the October of life, I felt it today, for the first time.

It’s rumble announced its coming it’s warning bellowing stand back, I am strong and powerful. I cannot stop.

And like the days of our life that whisk past us in the blink of an eye, it too, passed. - one, two, twenty, sixty four… steal and iron, engine and caboose, heaviness vibrating in the souls of my feet, sparking lightness and excitement in my breath.

Blow your whistle, ring your bell, rattle upon the tracks that give you life. Let me be a little boy, for just a moment more!
